Cape Horn - Chile

Cape Horn is part of a group of islands rife with history and culture. Visit the passage going to Punta Arena where you will find the beautiful Strait of Magellan, alive with architectural structures and remnants of the cruise of Magellan. For history visit the Museo Maritimo de Ushuaia, home to a collection of famous historical ships. For wildlife go to Tucker Island and watch the many different species of birds.

Gerlache Strait
Cruise down Gerlache Strait and find yourself surrounded by majestic mountains, breath-taking ice cliffs, spikey blue icebergs and deep waters. Spot humpback whales from the ship and keep your eyes open for colonies of penguins on the cliffs.
DAY 9
Elephant Island - Antarctica
Elephant Island is a mountainous island covered in ice, off the coast of Antarctica. Elephant seals are frequently spotted on its shores, as are colonies of Gentoo penguins and chinstrap penguins. The island was famously the refuge of the polar explorer Ernest Shackleton and his crew in 1916.

The view of the colourful houses immediately strikes you as you arrive at Port Stanley. The Falklands are teeming with wonderful wildlife – see teeming colonies of penguins and albatrosses or discover beautiful flowers. The wild location makes it an excellent place to go fishing.
