DAY 1

DAY 4
Cinque Terre (La Spezia) (It)
Surrounded by coastal villages and rural countryside, La Spezia is a busy, bustling city. It offers good-value restaurants and some renowned museums. The colourful fishing villages of Cinque Terre are easily accessible by train, and you can walk along the coast path that connects them to enjoy a stunning view of the sea.
DAY 5
Monte Carlo (Mc)
The tiny Principality of Monaco has a fairy-tale palace, millionaire ambiance and movie star good looks. Monte Carlo surrounded by yachts bobbing in La Condamine harbour is the jewel in the crown. Sip a Monaco cocktail of grenadine, lemonade and while you soak up the sheer ambiance of the place. Visit the Prince’s Palace, the Oceanographic Museum or the ‘must see’ when in Monte Carlo the Grand Casino.
DAY 6
Antibes (Fr)
Antibes lies on the Mediterranean in the Côte d’Azur, located between Cannes and Nice. You could spend every day at the beach in Antibes and feel you’ve had a rewarding trip. But make a point of exploring Antibes’ Old Town, called by some the cultural heart of the Côte d’Azur. Visit the Musée Picasso for its splendid artwork, sculpture terrace, and breath-taking views of the Mediterranean.
DAY 7
Provence (Marseille) (Fr)

Marseille is France’s second largest city and a virtual melting pot of peoples and cultures with a salty city with a feel and culture all its own. Dominating the harbor is the infamous Chateau d’If, the rocky prison from which Alexandre Dumas’ Count of Monte Cristo escaped. Marseille is also your gateway to Provence. Also try the renowned bouillabaisse or tour the lovely towns and vineyards of Provence.

DAY 8
Palma De Mallorca (Es)
Palma is Mallorca’s major port, and the summer holiday spot of choice for Spain’s royal family. Explore the lovely old quarter and step into the past in the historic churches, then get a taste of contemporary Palma in the city’s lively tapas bars. Visit the Arab Baths, the Moorish Palace and the Mallorca Museum, buy a string of Mallorca pearls or for outstanding views of the harbour take a ride on the wooden train to Soller.
DAY 9
Barcelona (Es)
The Catalan capital is one of Spain’s favourite cities. Visit Antoni Gaudi’s inspiring La Sagrada Familia with its ornate spires, explore aromatic food markets full of locally grown cured meats and vegetables or head to the beautiful beaches within walking distance of the city centre. Why not explore the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya, which offers a stunning view over the city and houses Spain’s largest collection of Catalan art?
