Your Itinerary

Explore this city of contrasts, from maze-like souks to soaring skyscrapers that include the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa.

Thanks to a major overhaul in February 2020, Norwegian Spirit offers 14 exciting new venues, additional cabins and an expanded Mandara Spa. A third main dining room, Taste, has debuted, plus the Blue Lagoon Café, Garden Café buffet. The new Onda by Scarpetta dine-dining restaurant, plus Waves Pool Bar and Bliss Ultra Lounge also debuted. On board there’s an easy-going atmosphere, with an emphasis on the freedom to enjoy YOUR holiday just the way you want it. There’s no strict dress code, lots of great entertainment venues, and fabulous facilities for passengers of all ages.

Mumbai offers so many memorable experiences it is hard to know where to begin. Perhaps a stroll along Marine Drive with its contrast of skyscrapers and the serene greenery of Malabar Hill. Then make your way to Crawford’s Market where Rudyard Kipling’s childhood home lies opposite. Bargain hunters should not miss the famous Chor Bazaar – don’t be afraid to haggle!

Swaying palms, white sands and sparkling waters, the three essential elements that attract 2 million visitors annually to Goa. Don’t be surprised if a herd of water buffalo greets you at breakfast, a lily-covered lake provides the scenery for your morning walk or a sea eagle accompanies you along a deserted stretch of pristine beach. But there’s far more than the exquisite pleasure of warm sand between your toes in Goa. Wander around a vanilla-scented spice plantation, stroll the bird-filled banks of the state’s gentle rivers, poke around centuries-old cathedrals or venture out to white-water waterfalls.

Mangalore lies on India’s west coast, flanked by the Arabian Sea and Western Ghat mountain ranges. The city’s landscape is characterised by rolling hills, coconut palms, freshwater streams, and red clay tiled dwellings. Sites of interest include the sixty foot high monolithic statue of Bahubali in Shravanabelagola, the Mangaladevi Hindu temple at Bolara, and the Milagres Roman Catholic Church. Further inspiration can be drawn from the imposing sunsets at Western Ghats and Tannirbhavi Beach.

Walk the city and you’ll feel the reverberations of England, Portugal, and Holland and China. Other highlights include the European colonial architecture along Princess Street, and the murals in Mattancherry Palace. Try the local favorite, meen molagitta curry.

Sri Lanka conjures up the exotic and the mysterious, and here you could choose from a diverse range of activities, from exploring the temples of the Sinhalese Kingdom or taking a guided tour of an Elephant orphanage. You could also take look at the Pettah Bazaar where you can buy almost anything and everything!

Phuket is Thailand’s largest island and offers a huge range of tours to help you discover the region. Go trekking in Khao Sok National Park, explore Phang Nga Bay’s dazzling limestone scenery by canoe, try snorkelling, or visit Phuket’s rubber and coconut plantations.

Magnificent beaches, mystical folklore and jungle-covered hills make Langkawi one of Malaysia’s most popular tropical destinations. Pulau Langkawi is the largest island and is home to Kuah, the main town which is great for a spot of duty-free shopping and nearby you can make your way to Mahsuri’s Mausoleum – a shine erected in honour of Mahsuri, a beautiful maiden who was unjustly accused of adultery.

Although the miles of golden sandy beaches lure visitors to Penang, take time to ride a trishaw to George Town where you can shop for exquisite batiks and visit the Khoo Wall, with its pillars and roof elaborately decorated with intricate carvings by master craftsmen from China. Visit Kek Lok Si, reputed to be the largest and most beautiful Buddhist temple complex in Southeast Asia.

The city of Kuala Lumpur has a fantastic range of sightseeing opportunities. Visit the National Museum showcasing traditional Malay architecture or stop at the National Mosque, which embodies a contemporary expression of traditional Islamic art, calligraphy and ornamentation. Located adjacent to the National Mosque is the ‘must see’ impressive Old Railway Station, one of the city’s most photographed landmarks.

Welcome to Singapore, where sacred Buddhist and Hindu temples sit in the shadows of sleek, futuristic architecture and the world-renowned street food offers a spectrum of flavours to tantalise every palate. Don’t forget to try the chilli crab, its national dish. It’s also home to the famous colonial-style Raffles Hotel, where the Singapore Sling cocktail was invented, as well as the spectacular Gardens By The Bay. It’s truly a city that never fails to impress.
